Urban development of the Rohansky Island – RIVER TALES
The story of the river began 150 years before, when Vltava was still flowing through idylic country side. Then the railway broke in , beginning the industrialization. 100 years ago the change of the river and the landscape began. 80 years ago a new area of Karlín and Libeň grew up, which was untill now just devastated and misused. Finally there comes a time to bring nature back to the landscape and to the city and to connect the city with the river.
