The region now housing the residential unit and commercial centre Vinice and the residential unit Palouk is delimited by the triangle of streets Vinohradska, Na Palouku a Pocernicka. For a long time, this area has been reserved within the zoning plan of Prague as the centre for the district of Prague 10. The proposal concentrates all essential services – shops and offices, along the main boulevard the Vinohradska Boulevard. The architectural and material solution of the southern part (buildings I, J, K) forms the entry into the broader city district centre. The construction divides into three sections: the corner building of the Ceskomoravska stavebni sporitelna building society (building K) on an ellipsoid ground plan, whose longitudinal axis runs parallel to the Starostranicka Street. The multifunctional building Oskar Centrum (buildings JJ, JV, JS), along the street axis, with internal covered courtyard, shopping galleries, and two high-rise, 22-floor, residential buildings (buildings I1, I2), slightly removed from the street line. The material composition of the northern section (area OC), i.e. the residential unit Palouk, is partially predetermined by the regulatory requirement for a barrier building along the Pocernicka Street (structures A1-A8) and construction of a new street (Nazovska) as an extension of he Pod Strasnickou Vinici Street. A central plaza is proposed north of this street (between buildings C1, C2 and F), linked to the main pedestrian zone running from the southern sector along the north-south axis. The basic axis of the central section is the line of buildings south of and along the Nazovska Street, composed of smaller structures. The basic design element for the project is a set of five identical cubic buildings (buildings E1, E4, D4, D1 and G4), supplemented with two flat buildings (E2, E3, D2, D3) and a high-rise ten-floor building G3. The separate structures are interconnected via the terrace levels. Passages on the ground level
allow pedestrians to pass from the Nazovska Street to the greenery towards the Vinohradska Street. The positioning of the buildings D3, D2, D4, E4, E2 and E3 creates a plaza in their midst, serving as leisure time, greenery area.
