And after we won a competition for interiors at Skanska, we became interior architects and came up with four floors in Scandinavian style.
Green Roof: The roof of the building is planted with plants and equipped with a rainwater harvesting system, which is used to irrigate the community garden behind the building.
A pioneer in green energy: Corso Court was the first project in the country to use renewable electricity in its construction, certified by EKOenergy and meeting environmental and climate protection criteria.
Ricardo Bofill - Master of Geometry: Born in Barcelona in 1939, Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill founded the Taller de Arquitectura studio in 1963. His work, inspired by Mediterranean and Arabic architecture, is famous for its geometric forms. His building Les Espaces d'Abraxas appeared in an episode of the film Hunger Games.
Flexible interiors: CASUA's interior design offers a flexible layout of workspaces that can be easily adapted to the size and needs of companies.
Corso Court is an example of how modern buildings can contribute to the quality of life in the city. It combines innovative design with sustainability to create a space that is pleasant to work and relax in. This building thus symbolizes a new direction in the development of urban architecture and confirms that Karlín is a dynamic and growing centre for business and innovation in Prague.
Corso Court was awarded the prestigious Building of the Year Award 2016 by the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction and czBIM.
