Arnošt Lustig Award

As in other years, this time too we are a proud partner of this award. The award is given annually to individuals who embody qualities such as "courage and bravery, humanity and justice," characteristics referring to the writer Arnošt Lustig, whose name the award bears.
Professor Cyril Höschl became the laureate of the prize for 2022. This psychiatrist, pedagogue and popularizer of science has been one of the leading Czech psychiatrists for almost fifty years. From the beginning of the nineties until 2021, he led the Prague Psychiatric Center, which under his leadership was transformed into the National Institute of Mental Health and is one of the most important research facilities. He is the author of five books and a number of textbooks.
