High-rise buildings, change of zoning plan
We are happy to participate in innovative urban works and the high-rise zoning of Prague and the protection of the UNESCO skyline are among such works.
We were delighted when this work achieved international recognition.
What helped us with the solution was that Prague has a 3D model of its territory and all the buildings, so we tried to insert into this 3D model the sizes of the buildings we found around the world and investigated how this affects the preservation of the conservation area and the Prague skyline. We were delighted when this work achieved international recognition. And at the UNESCO meeting in Quebec in 2008, Prague was identified as an example worthy of emulation by other cities.
